Buckle Up for Safety! We care about you, your families and friends. Please wear your seat belts.

The Marshall Police Department, Public Works Department, Marshall Lions Club and the Marshall School District joined forces to help promote seat belt use. Signs were erected by the exits of the High School parking lot as a reminder to drivers and passengers to Buckle Up. Teens have the lowest seat belt use of any age group according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for 15 to 20 year olds in the United States. The majority of these deaths involve unbuckled teens; drivers and passengers.

So go ahead and take 5 seconds to buckle up… because we like having you around!
