Club History & Membership:

Founded in Marshall, WI on January 3, 1979. Currently 74 members

Meetings:

Generally, the Club meets on the 2nd Wednesday and last Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. (summer location: Lions Park on Hubbell Street and Fall, Winter Spring location at Marshall Community Center)

Lions Club International History:

Founded in Chicago, Illinois, in 1917, by businessman Melvin Jones. Since its inception, Lions Clubs International has been dedicated to helping those less fortunate in their communities and around the world. In 1925, Helen Keller challenged the members to be “Knights of the blind.” “We Serve” became the association’s official motto in 1954.
